F-15 Welding Technician

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years TIG welding experience.
  • Previous certifications for thin gauge TIG welding.
  • Previous weld training experience.
  • Previous aircraft welding experience.
  • Familiarity with military supply system.
  • Capable of welding thing gauge: stainless steel, inconel, titanium.
  • Able to determine and pass necessary welding tests for weld repairs for F-15 augmenter nozzle parts I.A.W. MIL-STD-1595.
  • Able to create and implement a training program, in addition train all personnel assigned to welding location.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot all welding equipment.
  • Able to read and interpret technical orders manuals from Pratt and Whitney and the RSAF.
