Welding Technician
Experience and Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of five (5) years experience of which two (2) years must be at the seven (7) level.
- Qualification as an F-15 Aircraft Maintenance Specialist is mandatory.
- TIG welding experience.
- Previous certifications for thin gauge TIG welding.
- Previous weld training experience.
- Previous aircraft welding experience.
- Familiarity with military supply system.
- Capable of welding thing gauge: stainless steel, inconel, titanium.
- Able to determine and pass necessary welding tests for weld repairs for F-15 augmenter nozzle parts I.A.W. MIL-STD-1595.
- Able to create and implement a training program, in addition train all personnel assigned to welding location.
- Maintain and troubleshoot all welding equipment.
- Able to read and interpret technical orders manuals from Pratt and Whitney and the RSAF.
