Weapons Release / Armament

Responsibilities:
- Augment, advise and assist RSAF in an effective F-15 weapons system maintenance and OJT operation.
- Qualify a cadre of RSAF maintenance officers, specialists, supervisors and skilled technicians capable of assuming responsibility for the F-15 maintenance organization as directed by RSAF.
- Inspects all aspects of Armament system repair.
- Inspects assigned aircraft and equipment.
- Perform on the job training for assigned trainees.
- Documents all maintenance actions as prescribed by established procedures.
- Performs acceptance inspections on newly assigned aircraft and equipment.
- Orders and receives parts when required.
- Performs specialty assignments which can be, but are not limited to: flight line, dock maintenance, AGE, special vehicle maintenance, aircraft repair branch functions, and intermediate maintenance fabrication shops.
Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of five years experience in AFSC 462X0/2W1X1E of which one year must be at the seven level.
- Qualification as an F-15 Armament Systems Specialist is mandatory.
- In addition, a minimum of one year experience in performing or supervising functions such as loading and unloading air munitions; or maintenance, repair and modification of air munitions launch, release, suspension, or aircraft mounted gun systems is mandatory.
- Must have a minimum of two years experience in Quality Control.
