Supply System Analyst

Purpose:
The Supply Systems Analyst is assigned to the Supply Systems Section within the HQ RSAF Directorate of Supply. Typical duties and responsibilities are as follows.
Responsibilities:
- Assist supply users at base level in the resolution of procedural and software problems within AUTOLOG.
- Recommend develops and implement new policies, procedures and reports to resolve supply support problems and improve the RSAF supply system.
- Monitor software program release to ensure that the programs work in the field as they were designed and performed in the test environment.
- Coordinate with representatives of various organizations such as USMTM, SATAF, AFLC/ILC, UKMOD, and BAE, as appropriate to ensure that AUTOLOG is properly interfacing with all sources of supply.
- Perform staff assistance visits to various RSAF bases to evaluate the need for and impact of updated and new supply procedures.
- Monitor and prioritize System Problem Reports (SPR'S) generated by the HQ. Depot and base supply staffs to ensure changes are made to improve to AUTOLOG supply system.
- Coordinate with the Directorate of Computer Services, depot and base supply personnel as required in the resolution of AUTOLOG procedural and system program deficiencies.
- Analyze monthly reports from depots and bases, and advise the Chief, Supply Systems Section, on any aspect of supply systems support that requires attention or action.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Completion of University degree or a combination of equivalent technical education and experience is mandatory.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of work experience with automated military supply systems is required.
- Experience in technical writing and the management of logistics resources is essential.
- Experience in the use of data automation in material management is also essential.
- Recent experience in the USAF AFSC 6416 career field (fully qualified staff supply officer) is desired.
- Work experience as a supply staff officer at HQ USAF or a major air command or equivalent level is desired, as is familiarity with the USAF Foreign Military Sales (FMS) system.
