Stan / Eval Officer/ Instructor Pilot
Summary:
Maintains the position of Pilot Captain with all duties and responsibilities. In coordination with the 10th Flying Wing 1st Squadron Stan/Eval Section, assumes duties of the Standardization and Evaluation Officer for the 10th Flying Wing, 1st Squadron.
Duties:
- Conducts flight evaluations as specified in the RSAF Stan/Eval manuals for pilots of 10th Flying Wing, 1st Squadron.
- Administers written examinations and flight evaluations to aircrews.
- Reviews quality and completeness of RSAF forms.
- Remains current and reviews RSAF manuals and procedures related to aircrew standards and proficiency.
- Maintains aircrew evaluation records and ensures timely recording for all evaluation flights.
- Recommends aircrews for proficiency and upgrade training.
- Coordinates and works with 1st Squadron Stan/Eval Officer as required.
- Performs duties of Pilot Captain.
Normal Background And Experience Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education with a thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO and PCA regulations governing the operation of Logistics aircraft.
- Qualified current pilot with FAA Airline Transport Rating and type rating in organizational aircraft with a minimum of 3,000 hours of civilian or military related flight time including a minimum of 250 hours as IP on type or a minimum of 100 hours as IP on type and 1000 hours multi-engine jet experience.
- Highly qualified and experienced Instructor Pilot (IP).
- Two or more years of logistics aircraft operations are normally required for satisfactory performance.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
