Summary:

The mission of the Naval Forces Schools is to provide Royal Saudi Naval Forces personnel with specialized training to prepare them for future assignments. The Sonar Suite Sim and Stim Instructor Maintenance Technician is responsible to the Director of Training, ASW School for performing instruction and maintenance on the Sonar Suite and Simulation/Stimulation equipments. The incumbent must coordinate through his supervisor all departmental matters requiring interface with outside agencies under the direction of the Director of Training, ASW School.

Education:

  • High school or trade school graduate.
  • Specialized certificates.
  • The incumbent must be fluent in English. (A working knowledge of Arabic is desirable).

Experience:

  • Six (6) years experience in maintaining shipboard sonar suite equipment, which includes two years of UQN-4, SSQ-61, MK-309, WQC-2A, or equivalent systems, instructional experience.
  • Three years of job related experience is deemed equivalent to one year of formal education.
  • Must have worked in Sonar Suite equipments related jobs for the past 5 years.
  • Experience should comply with RSNF Sonar Suite equipment configurations.
  •  Eligible for U.S. Confidential Security Clearance.
