Simulator Operator / Instructor Pilot
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operator / Instructor (O / Is) are required for the F-15 simulator located at KAAB, KFDAB, and at KKAB.
- The operator / instructor will be qualified in operation of the F-15 simulator instructor console.
- He must be fully knowledgeable of operations on the F-15 aircraft and capable of providing instruction in both primary flying and advanced flying techniques and procedures.
- Specifically, he must be qualified to brief pilot trainees prior to simulator missions, configure the simulator, monitor / control and instruct to ensure mission completion and accomplishment of objectives and debrief the pilot.
- He must also accomplish training of individuals desiring console operation proficiency.
- IX Simulator O / I's will perform AFMSS system administration and operations training.
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of five years USAF pilot experience in fighter type aircraft with two year experience in the F-15 (minimum of 300 flying hours).
- Must be knowledgeable regarding the latest F-15 operations, performance, and weapons and capable of proving instructions in both primary and advanced flying techniques and procedures.
- The O / I's may be required to take no-notice simulator check flights at irregular intervals by quadroon stan / eval pilots.
