Senior Contracts Administrator
Although responsible to the Chief Officer, Legal Affairs & Contracts, the successful candidate is required to work with only minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate with programs and advises company mamagement in requirements development and planning for future agreements /contracts.
- Deal primarily with program contracts officer (PCO) at Robins AFB for the F-15 PDM program, AMCOM - Redstone Arsenal for MSS program and the Administrative Contracts Officer (ACO) in Riyadh.
- Perform the full range of contracts administration, monitoring customer, supplier and company contractural compliance through contract close out.
- Implement contracting policy and proceduresn and assures information availability to Alsalam management on which the contract and business decisions may be based on.
- Assures appropriate reviews and approval processes are accomplished; recommends contract or other action approvals.
- Reviews contract related correspondance, distributes and requests action as appropriate.
- Provides contract interpretation advice to other Contracts Administrators, Contracts Managers, Contracts Director and other management personnel as required in this area of assigned responsibility.
- Interact with legal and contract represenatives from other major corporations and other governments, US or Saudi.
Requirements:
- Requires a minimum of 4 years Degree in a contracts-related field, MBA or Juris Doctorate is preferred.
- At least 7-10 years experience in US Federal government and commercial contracts, preferably in military (F-15 PDM) and civil aircraft maintenance-related field, strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, FMS, ITAR and other related regulations and how to read and interpret them as required.
- Strong contracts/ legal background and the expertise to challenge the statement of work (SOW), the PCO and/or ACO on contractual issues when required.
- Prior USAF Contracting Officer experience is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office required.
Preferred Education:
- 4 Year Degree.

- Remuneration includes base pay; annual bonus and severence award, all exclusive of standard U.S. Income Tax on foreign earned income.
- Other benefits include thirty leave days and eleven Saudi holidays per year.
- Air tickets are provided for home leave at the end of one year.
