Builds market position and visibility by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships for an FAA FAR 145 Aircraft component repair facility located in the Northeast. Company specializes in wide and narrow body commercial aircraft both domestic and international.

Extensive Travel is required.

Duties:

  • Locate, visit and propose potential business deals and opportunities:
    • Contact potential customers
    • Discover and explore opportunities
  • Directs business development and organizational strategies:
    • Contribute information, analysis, and recommendations to functional strategic thinking and direction.
  • Attend and manage numerous worldwide trade shows.
  • Identify trend setter ideas:
    • Research industry and related events, publications, and announcements
    • Track individual contributors and their accomplishments
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions:
    • Study integration of new venture with company strategies and operations
    • Examine risks and potentials
    • Estimate customer’s needs and goals
  • Closes new business deals:
    • Coordinate requirements
    • Develop and negotiate contracts
    • Integrate contract requirements with business operations
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge:
    • Attend educational workshops
    • Review professional publications
    • Establish business networks
    • Benchmark state-of-the-art practices
    • Participate in professional societies

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must be US Citizen
  • Must possess at least (5) years current commercial aircraft component repair facility sales experience, as well as current contacts.
  • Prior airline sales experience a plus.
