Maintenance Planner Marine Mechanical
Summary:
The Maintenance Planner Marine Mechanical compiles work lists utilizing current ship maintenance program, ship alteration lists, preventive maintenance requirements, trial results, equipment test, and other authorize sources. Coordinates all advance planning actions for scheduled availabilities. Develops work requirements/specifications for ship work in the prescribed format.
Education:
High school (secondary school) graduate or equivalent education and completion of apprenticeship or equivalent military or industrial training in the Marine Mechanical trade.
Experience:
Eight (8) years experience in the Marine Mechanical trade including four (4) years as a planner, estimator, ship surveyor, or shop planner.
Physical and/or other Specific Requirements:
- Must have pass a complete physical and dental examination.
- Must be able to work in severe environmental conditions.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
