Joint Air Operations School (JAOS) Instructor
Duties:
- Development and instruction of numerous operational level courses.
- Responsible for developing Course Control Documents.
- Responsible for the validity of all course material assigned and ensuring that course curriculum is updated.
- Responsible for developing exercise scenarios.
- Primary function is teaching and training Saudi Arabian Armed Forces (SAAF) personnel.
- Candidate should be motivated, a self-starter, have excellent communication skills and must be flexible enough to respond to rapidly changing customer requirements while handling multiple tasks.
Qualifications and Education:
- College Graduate.
- Retired/Separated Major/Lt Commander or above (0-4 or above).
- Minimum of 2 years operational-level experience in the staff functions at a Joint Operations Center, U.S. Air Operations Center or Naval Command Post.
- Experience in the Air Force Command and Control Functions or Naval Command and Control Functions, Staff Procedures, and Air Force Operations or Naval Operations.
- Candidate must understand and be able to effectively convey the Joint Operations Planning Process (Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning).
- Experience as an instructor at the USAF Command and Control Warrior School or other U.S. Military School is preferred, but not required.
- Graduate of the U.S. Air Command Staff College or Naval Command and Staff College, U.S. Military Academic Instructor Course/Instructional Systems Development Course is required.
- Computer software skills including Microsoft Office applications are required.
- Must have a clear understanding of the Theater Air Ground System and Air Tasking Order.
