English Language Instructor
Knowlegde and Education:
- Individual shall possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's degree (BA, BEd, BS) with a major in English, linguistics or another modern language.
- The course of study must include teaching methodology and practice in classroom teaching.
- If the degree is in another field, the applicant must possess a TEFL/TESL certificate acquired within the past six (6) years from a recognized TEFL/TESL teacher-training institution.
- NOTE: If the degree or certificate is not recent, documentation must show that the principal occupation, during the large part of the past five (5) years, has been in the TESL/TEFL field. Must possess knowledge of training techniques, methods of instruction, English curriculum development, use of training aids, Computer Based Training (CBT) Systems, and training support systems/procedures.
Experience:
- Shall have at least three (3) years experience in teaching English to speakers of another language, with most current experience not more than two (2) years prior to the date of hire.
- Experience teaching Arab students in the Middle East, especially in a military environment, is highly desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reports to the ELT OIC and functions as an English Language Training Instructor under the direct supervision of the RSAF.
- Determines training requirements; develops and conducts basic and advanced training courses in accordance with RSAF directives.
- Plans and conducts OJT in accordance with RSAF directives.
- Performs other related duties as directed.

- The Candidate must be a citizen of the United States of America and currently possess or have the ability to obtain a US Passport.
- All offers are contingent on the candidates ability to meet requirements for a Saudi Arabia WORK VISA and the candidates approval by the ROYAL SAUDI AIR FORCE.
