Engineering Marine Electrical
Summary:
The Engineer Marine Electrical provides technical guidance and assistance in the planning, design, repair, modification, alteration, and maintenance of shipboard mechanical equipment and other productive work. Provides engineering liaison with waterfront production efforts, participates in engineering studies as assigned, assists in the preparation and evaluation of inspections, tests, and trials.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Marine Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
- Eight (8) years experience in Marine Electrical design and engineering including four (4) years in marine or shipbuilding repair related industries.
Physical and/or other Specific Requiremetns
- Must pass a complete physical and dental examination.
- Must be able to work in severe environmental conditions.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
