Electronic Technician, Fire Control System (MK-92)
Summary:
The Electronic Technician, Fire Control System performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MK-92 Mod 5 and associated equipment. Completes all related maintenance forms, logs, and records. The incumbent should be able to impart to PSNF designated personnel the unique characteristics of the position.
Education:
- High School (secondary school) graduate and completion of appropriate military or industrial training for the maintenance and repair of Electronic Fire Control Systems including specific courses of instruction on the maintenance and repair of the MK 92 Mod 5 Fire Control System.
- Certificates required.
Experience:
- Six (6) years experience as an Electronic Fire Control Systems Technician in the operation, maintenance, test and repair of position related or similar equipment.
- Maintenance experience of at least four (4) years with the MK 92 Mod 5 Fire Control Systems is required.
- Experience may be military or industrial.
- Eligible for U.S. Confidential Security Clearance.
