Summary:

The Electronics Technician Close-In Weapons System MK 15 Lead performs scheduled and corrective maintenance, overhauls and repairs on the MK 15 Mod 5 Close-In Weapons System and associated equipment. Completes all related maintenance forms, logs and records. The incumbent must be able to impart to RSNF designated personnel the unique characteristics of the position.

Education:

• High school (secondary school) graduate or equivalent education and completion of appropriate military or industrial training for the maintenance and repair of Ordnance Electronic equipment including specific courses of instruction on the maintenance and repair of the MK 15 MOD 5 Close-In Weapons Systems.

Experience:

• Five (5) years experience as an Ordnance Electronics Technician.
• Maintenance of at least two (2) years with the MK 15 Mod 5 Close-In Weapons System is required.
• Experience may be military or industrial.
• Eligible for U.S. Confidential Security Clearance.
