Key Tasks:

• Manage all aspects of designated projects, including pre-award and postaward international contracting, subcontracting and leasing activities.
• Liaise with company staff, and potential and existing customers (ie.NATO, US DoD, German Bundeswehr, Aviation Service Providers).
• Under the direction of the Purchasing & Contracting Manager, develop contracting documents and coordinate aviation contracting activities within the company.
• Develop contracts, subcontracts, Request for Proposal responses, and lease agreement documents to maximize financial outcomes and business
  objective.
• Provide required information to senior management to facilitate the negotiation of contracts with internal and external clients.
• Provide professional advice to senior management on risk and mitigation activities to maximize contract outcomes.
• Provide continual oversight to ensure that all terms and conditions are met in the execution of contracts and agreements.
• Develop and integrates contract management tools, templates and processes for contract management effectiveness and efficiency, consistent with current international standard.
• Participate and provides advice to project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters.
• Provide interpretation and advice to required stakeholders in the Aviation Business Unit, in the application of contract terms and conditions.
• Conduct periodic contract review and manage the contract change processes.
• Provide guidance to business team members for the development of appropriate subcontract Statement of Work.
• Manage the dissemination of information regarding contract status, compliance and amendments.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be local UAE candidate
• Previous experience in similar aviation Contract Development and/or Management role in an international environment.
• Extensive demonstrated experience with international and commercial aviation contractual instruments and their terms and conditions.
• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or other directly relevant degree from an accredited university.
• At least three years experience in pre-award and post-award contract management.
• International experience in contract risk assessment and mitigation.
• Experience with the application of ICAO, EASA/FAA regulations in regard to contract development.
• Experience in the contracting arrangements with various governments and military.
• Advanced computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Visio.

Preferable Skills and Qualifications:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from an accredited university.
• Military experience involving operations in austere environments, preferably with tours in Afghanistan or Iraq.
• Held the position of Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer Representative with the US Department of Defense or equivalent.
• Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) accreditation or commensurate international credentials.
• German and/or Russian language capabilities.
