Position Description:

Will be responsible to the Director of Maintenance & Engineering for the Royal Saudi Airforce.

Competencies:

• Ability to provide consultation and guidance in matters of PDM.
• Advise on the correct techniques and practices in affecting PDM related issues.
• Advise on the use and interpretation of PDM management information, assist other RSAF department in matters concerning PDM activities.
• Deputise for the Structural Engineer within the Dte. of M7E as required. Evaluate ECPs, TCTOs, MDRs and SIRs relating to aircraft issues.
• Identify and assist in the resolving problems relating to structural integrity, structural repairs, modifications and configuration changes both proposed and planned.
• Liaise with the various design authorities to ensure approval of repairs and modifications not covered by the appropriate repair manuals and procedures.
• Provide training in the fields of aircraft PDM to RSAF officers and Saudi nationals and make recommendations regarding future training.
• Record discussions of meetings and write draft minutes.

Typical Education / Experience:

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline; at least ten years aircraft maintenance experience including at least five years in aircraft type KE-3A, E3-A, RE-3A.
• Fully computer literate with good communications skill.
