Autopilot Instrument System Maintenance Technician

Job Description:
- Inspects, analysis, troubleshoots, removes, repairs, installs, repairs, installs, operates, calibrates and adjusts
- Perform contracted duties and responsibilities in accordance with RSAF 66-1
- All applicable directives and all other duties assigned
Required Knowledge:
- Knowledge or electronic principles including theory, technique and practical application as they pertain to helicopter instruments
- Mechanical principles as applied as applied to automatic flight control systems repair, use and interpretation of circuit diagram, blueprints and Technical Publications, concepts and altitude stabilization, astro compass, data flow analysis, transistor and solid state components, torquing amplifiers and servo mechanism
Required Education & Experience:
- Will be a graduate of an applicable military maintenance school or its industrial equivalent.
- Shall have at least six (6) years experience in helicopter maintenance of the type possessed by the SH-3D Helicopter with at least three (3) years experience.
- Must have had practical experience within the past three (3) years.
