C130 Engine Prop Quality Inspector
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with and advise the RSAF Quality Control Superintendent to ensure all defined inspections; evaluations, investigations, and assessments are accomplished.
- Review documents and reports for accuracy and meeting established suspense's.
- Ensure QC personnel are trained by identifying and acting on QC training problems and including possible solutions.
- Administer, manage and maintain the Quality Assurance Inspector Evaluation (QAIE) process.
- Supervise the Propulsion Functional Check Flight and maintenance impoundment programs.
- Brief the QC Flt Commander / manager on significant inspection trends and assessment findings.
- Assist maintenance managers and supervisors when requested and advise where necessary on quality issues.
- Must have overall experience in aircraft propulsion maintenance and operations.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills are essential.
Knowledge & Education:
- Thorough knowledge of Quality Control functions.
- Knowledgeable of the propulsion maintenance and quality management concepts.
- Knowledge of procedures involved with the inspection, removal, disassembly, testing servicing, troubleshooting, modification, repair and replacement of modular components and related systems for GTC/APU, T56/D22A engines, and 56H60-117 Hamilton Standard propellers.
- Completion of a T56 Engine Basic Engine or Propeller technical school is mandatory.
- Knowledge of USAF/RSAFM 66-1, coupled with applicable technical manuals is mandatory.
- Completion of a Quality Control course is desirable.
- Minimum of a high school diploma and completion of military specialty course or civilian aircraft maintenance equivalent is mandatory.
- College degree is desirable.
