Engineer
Location: Kansas
This master requisition
covers all position levels for Test Engineer at
our Client. Your application to this master requisition
will allow our recruiters to assess your skills and
experience, and determine the most appropriate position
level.
Job Description:
Designs, develops and implements testing methods and
equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and
equipment required for testing and evaluating standard
and special devices. Provides test area with parameters
for sample testing and specific tests to be performed.
Compiles data and defines changes required in testing
equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes
or new testing requirements. Employee will be
responsible for testing all customer samples and for
special test that cannot be performed in the test area.
The position also involves interacting with numerous
other disciplines to successfully complete assigned
tasks. Some travel will be required
Required Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills
Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially
Word and Excel
Problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude to
understand aircraft system operations
Ability to remain attentive to multiple assigns and
change focus between them
Candidate will be expected to understand work
authorizations, engineering test requests, aircraft
conformity as it relates to experimental flight
operations
Desired Skills:
Pilot license or desire to understand aircraft
operations
Prior Flight Test Engineer experience
Familiarity with aircraft Certification FAR’s, Advisory
Circulars, and other FAA documents
Required Education:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering and a minimum of 4
years experience (BSAE, BSME, or equivalent)
