Interior Design Engineer
Location: Kansas
This master requisition
covers all position levels for Interior Design Engineer
at our Client. Your application to this master
requisition will allow our recruiters to assess your
skills and experience, and determine the most
appropriate position level.
Job Description:
This technical administrative position will be
responsible to support the Interior Function Group
Design, Engineering and Certification Teams. This
position will require building activity lists and
complete engineering worksheets. The individual will be
responsible for supplier coordination efforts to include
the following tasks: write and track Purchase
Requisition Worksheets (PRW), Interior Statement of
Works (SOW) Interior Specs and Engineering Coordination
Memos (ECM) and will monitor and update the Supplier
Purchase Items Worksheet (SPI). This candidate will
coordinate with Design, Engineering Configuration
Management, Planning, Quality Assurance, Supply
Management and the supplier to provide the required
documents to support the engineering plans.
Required Skills:
Knowledge: Applies expertise, and has full knowledge of
data bases and document worksheets to provide required
document support of the aircraft interior design,
engineering and certification effort.
Problem Solving: Develops solutions to complex problems
that require the regular use of ingenuity and
creativity.
Discretion: Work is performed without appreciable
direction. Applicant must have worked within an
Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment. Exercise
considerable latitude in determining objectives of
assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively
long-term perspective.
Impact: Perform the successful completion of major
programs on schedule and within the allotted budget.
Liaison: Interact with senior external personnel on
associated matters often requiring coordination between
organizations.
Desired Skills:
Microsoft Office XP to include experience with Excel and
Access data bases.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years experience
