Summary:
The Regional
Sales Manager will report to the Director of Sales North
America. The Regional Sales Manager will develop and
take ownership of a major airline MRO account (USA &
Canada), and establish market penetration for
maintenance, repair and overhaul MRO services for
commercial aircraft, components, landing gear, APUs and
engines.
Establish the
Company as the alternative to MRO’s in North America.
Identify potential MRO customers and inform potential
and existing customers of the Company's capabilities to
solidify and extend our position in the market. Assist
Product Divisions and Subsidiaries with the preparation
of bids and proposals. Coordinate the negotiation,
writing, and closure of contracts.
Duties and
Responsibilities:

Promote
and obtain the Company's MRO business in North
America.

Develop
customer base of MRO services.
-
Establish
and maintain relationship with major MRO accounts.
-
Coordinate
respective marketing activities with the Company's
marketing agency.
-
Attend MRO
related conferences as the Company's North American
Sales representative.
-
Act as
liaison-officer to the Company’s related
subsidiaries.
-
Coordinate
and support MRO sales activities with TS/U regional
sales mangers.
-
Have a
controlling function and a follow-up on
payments/invoicing and outstanding.
-
Contract
negotiations.
-
Mitigate
complaints from customers regarding the Company's
Group Service.
-
Developing
& maintaining relationships with key industry
decision makers to maximize opportunities with
existing and potential customers.
-
Liaising
with internal customers and subject matter experts
to ensure proposals, bids, pricing, negotiations and
contracts are transitioned and implemented
effectively.

Identifying new business opportunities based on
Market intelligence input and making appropriate
cold calls.
-
Updating
Market Intelligence with customer, pricing, product
and competitive information as it becomes available.
Identifying growth, targets and developing strategy
for winning business.

Preparing
solicited and unsolicited bid packages.
-
Leading
proposal, pricing, and contract negotiation teams to
ensure profitable revenue streams from new &
existing customers.

Preparing
commitment authorization and executive contract
summaries.
-
Assisting
Customer Service / Product Sales Account Managers
with resolving customer issues and building
relationships.
-
Developing, executing and adapting individual sales
tactics and plans to meet or exceed personal sales
targets.

Participating in industry events to build and
maintain corporate and individual presence.
Qualifications:
-
Must have experience in
sales and contracts as well as strong networking
skills and a track record as a negotiator and deal
closer.

A solid background in
the aerospace industry that includes technical
knowledge of MRO products and services is also
required.

Excellent knowledge of
the Airline MRO business and existing relationships
with potential customers.

Position requires an
Undergraduate degree in related discipline.

Excellent
organizational, interpersonal and communication
skills.

Outstanding verbal and
written English.

Excellent presentation
and negotiation skills.

Ability to maintain a
professional office environment.

Proficiency with Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office
applications.
