Duties and
Responsibilities:
-
Responsible for the material supply chain and all
material related questions
-
Coordinator between the Customer, Material
Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Customer
Service and Logistics
-
On call AOG support
-
Ensuring correct invoicing for non contracted or
excluded services
-
Monitoring and Reporting of Service Level
Performance, modification campaigns, status of material
orders and responsiveness to AOG requests
-
Responsible for Home Base adjustments to optimize
Service Level and material cost in accordance with the
Business Plan and contract
-
Analysis of company's Material data and
Recommended Spares Provisioning information provided by
the Aircraft OEMs to produce a customized recommendation
-
Comparison of the existing Home Base to the
updated recommendation in order to define a
Re-provisioning to ensure an optimal components support
-
Proactively work to resolve discrepancies as they
occur.
-
Continuous optimization of the overall concept
and processes to improve the efficiency of the material
supply in cooperation with the Account Manager.

Work in and with various company systems, such as
SAP, E-bat, MAX-LRU, etc.
-
Support, cooperate, and communicate with all
customers and colleagues.
-
Input data in EDP systems in keeping with
procedures.
-
Process documentation according to instruction
and procedures.
-
Perform support functions and deputized duties as
directed.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
- 3
years experience in Aviation Maintenance (Technical
Purchasing, Spares Planning, Logistics, Customer
Service)
- Good
knowledge of the Supply Chain, Material Planning and
Modification Processes in the Aircraft Component
business
- Knowledge
of Aircraft Systems and Operation
- German
a plus
- Must
be customer friendly, cooperative & professional
- Must
be computer literate and
proficient with Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint and
Internet. MS Access a plus
- Quick learner, ability to
understand complex interactions and identify errors
- Ability to work under time pressure
with high degree of accuracy.
- Ability
to prioritize work flows
- Ability
to work independently, making effective decisions
- Ability
to function in a team environment & make a positive
contribution
- Willingness
to work shifts, holidays and/or weekends as necessary.
- Good
communication & organizational skills
- Travel
required
