Aircraft & Avionics Technical Management Support Services


Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, and/or other locations within the Kingdom

 

Required Citizenship: United States

 

Summary:  A large, specialized contractor& service provider working to meet customers’ special requirements.  The Company is based and operates in KSA and the gulf region, working with as a supply chain manager and support provider in repair and refurbishment for aerospace and related ground support equipment; the Company currently employs about 1000 people with an annual turnover in excess of 50 Million Dollars. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Flight Management Systems (FMS),

  • Mission Management Systems (MMS), and Information Systems.

  • Responsibilities will extend to requirements development and management, systems architecture, systems specification and test case and procedure development.

  • Providing technical support/problem solving for new and developmental programs in aerospace, life support, or other special projects. 

  • Ensure  maintenance is properly and thoroughly documented in accordance with RSAF regulations;

  • Updating and maintaining maintenance manuals, service bulletins, parts books and regulatory updates, and other technical directives.

  • Ensure appropriate aircraft spares and supplies, inventory levels, and appropriate inventory control functions are maintained.

  • Developing repair procedures, working out and managing schedules for repair and maintenance;

  • Collating information, interpreting data and publishing the results of specific projects in technical report form;

  • Storing paperwork for approved data (drawings, technical instructions, assessments and calculations);

  • Working with teams, suppliers, clients and managers to agree budgets, timescales and specifications;

  • Communicating technical and regulatory advice to teams, suppliers and professionals within the aerospace industry.

  • Superior project and time management skills

  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in industry with at least 3 of them in a Systems Engineering capacity.

  • Engineers with BSEE, MSEE, and/or Avionics Systems degrees are preferred.

  • Formal education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics and / or Physics would be additionally considered.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety people of diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with aircraft maintenance and repair;

  • Previous international work experience highly desirable.

  • Solid organization, analytical and problem solving skills: the ability to assess situations quickly and follow-up efficiently and effectively.

  • Team oriented work style, with a pro-active, open-minded, and flexible approach.

  • Exceptional tolerance to stress: ability to function effectively in a demanding, fast-paced, and constantly changing work environment.

  • Proficient with developing engineering drawings in CAD , knowledge and understanding of fit, form and function of mechanical designs

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.

  • B.S. in engineering with a minimum 3 years experience in applicable field: aerospace, government/military programs.

  • Experience with aerospace devices, product design, and technologies.

  • Experience with material science and metallurgical analysis.

  • Experience with fluid and mechanical dynamics technology and analysis is a plus.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Ability understand product requirements and performance specifications

  • Read and understand schematics, assembly drawings, parts lists, test procedures, engineering drawings, technical procedures,

  • Ability understand governmental regulations. 

 

Compensation Offered:    Qualified candidates will receive a good tax free pay package within or exceeding industry standards, including health insurance and accommodation family status, annual return tickets and vacation leave.

 

Career level:  Middle managerial to senior technical management position.

 

Languages: English proficiency is a must, other languages are extra advantage

 

The team:  Can work as a part of a professional team of technicians and department members to get the job done within tight time frame/ schedules.

 

Report to: The incumbent will be reporting to the Program manager.
