Range Scoring Technician

Location: Saudi Arabia

Required Citizenship: United States

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Range Safety Officer (RSO) Fahad Range in carrying out his duties.
Record bomb scores on the manned range and feedback to the EOD. as to the successful delivery of the weapons dropped.
Assist the OIC of the range in the maintenance of the range, by identifying which targets need repairing and general maintenance of the target areas.
Provide statistical information to the OIC to be presented as requested by the RSAF.
Locate and identify the used weaponry for collection by EOD teams and maintenance crews.
Ensure that the two (2) towers are ready for use before the days flying commences.
Operate the Range Control Section when the main tower is unoccupied.
Prepare and give annual Safety Briefs.
Brief work parties before they enter the range,.
Maintain a supply log and complete requests for supplies through the RSAF system as repaired.
Coordinate weather information with the RSO, SOF and the Flying Squadrons.

Experience and Qualifications:

Academic qualification: High School diploma or equivalent, BS or MS.
Professional/Specialty: Munitions Technician or Ops. Technician, supply/hyd/electronic/engine/programming etc.
Total years experience: 5 to 15 years experience.
Must have Ground Safety, Munitions, and Explosives Safety experience.
Five (5) years experience must be in the seven (7) level or four (4) years in level nine (9).
