Duties &
Responsibilities:
-
Maintain
liaison with supply to ensure availability of
adequate supplies to support maintenance
requirements.
-
Coordinates with supply on the establishment of
bench stocks.
-
Verifies
NORS requisitions and maintains an up-to-date status
of each NORS item.
-
Coordinate
all DIFM matters with the Repair Cycle unit of Base
supply.
-
Recommends
cannibalization action when such action will be
beneficial to the maintenance organization and the
RSAF. Manages and controls the scheduling of
equipment calibration.

Performs
other logistical duties as directed by the
Maintenance Management function.
Qualifications:
-
Knowledge
of aircraft, support equipment, maintenance and
supply procedure.

Knowledge
of the automated system management procedures (AUTO
LOG) that apply to maintenance and supply.

Ability to
interpret and apply the applications of RSAFM 66-1
and RSAFM 00-20-1 are mandatory.
Experience:
-
Five (5)
years of material control experience one (1) year of
which must have been in aircraft maintenance.

Minimum 7
Skill Level required
-
The
successful candidate must be able to be trained in
the use of RSAF manuals and technical orders
applicable to the assigned task.
