Engine Tracking Specialist


Location: Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

The Engine Configuration Management function is responsible for the

Managements of the RSAF Propulsion System Configuration Control Program which includes the processing and management of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO), Service Bulletins (SB), and System Improvement Requests (SIRs).

 

Specifically this responsibility includes, but is not limited to the following:

 

  • Writing, updating and coordinating with MSET on Chapter 10, Vol III on Configuration Management in RSAFM 66-1.

  • Provide input for changes or modifications to Configuration Management procedures established in RSAFM 66-1.

  • Compare procedures outlined in RSAFM 66-1 to like procedures outlined in RSAFM 67-1 to ensure compatibility of procedures.

  • Coordinate with Directorate of Supply to remove incompatibilities.

  • Provide advise and assistance to the Director of Maintenance & Engineering in the establishment and operation of the RSAF Configuration Control Board (CCB). Alert appropriate Maintenance & Engineering staff to the requirement for convening the CCB.

  • Maintain log-in, coordination system, and files for all incoming ECPs, TCTOs, SBs, and SIRs for controlled coordination with the applicable HQ Maintenance & Engineering Technical Agency.

  • Establish system to ensure review and determination of applicability for modification requirements for ECP, TCTO, SB, and SIRs and coordinate with the applicable bases. This system will identify methods of determining quantity of assets to be modified, kits to be ordered, and follow-up procedures.

  • Establish and maintain a review and file for ECP, TCTO, SB, SIR applicability information received from the bases. This system will identify methods of determining quantity of assets to be modified, kits to be ordered, and follow-up procedures.

  • Establish and maintain a review and file for ECP, TCTO, SB, SIR applicability information received from the bases.

  • Establish and maintain review system for System Improvement Reports (SIR) to include a detailed technical review and approval / disapproval process covering accomplishment of the SIR of approved, and procedure for conversion of SIR to TCTO.

  • Monitor TCTO tracking system computer output reports to identify problem areas and implement required corrective action. Coordinate configuration management problems between the bases, other agencies and Offices of Primary Responsibility (OPR).

  • Coordinate requirements for personnel training and equipment requirements for TCTO / SB accomplishment.

  • Coordinates accomplishment of Depot level TCTOs / SBs with applicable authorities.

  • Monitor and coordinate kits and parts availability with Directorate of Supply for Depot Level TCTOs / SBs.

  • Input TCTO compliance requirements to the TCTO Tracking System computer database.

  • Monitor and maintain the Automated Configuration Control System (Auto log CMAS) to ensure timely compliance with and documentation of TCTOs / SBs.

  • Develop and provide functional analysis for the development.
