Summary:
Augment, advise and assist RSAF in an effective F-15
weapons systems maintenance and OJT operation. To
qualify a cadre of RSAF maintenance officers,
specialists, supervisors and skilled technicians capable
of assuming responsibility for the F-15 maintenance
organizations as directed by RSAF.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Troubleshoots, inspects, repairs and maintains
assigned aircraft and equipment.

Perform on the job training for assigned
trainees.

Documents all maintenance actions as prescribed
by established procedures.

Performs acceptance inspections on newly
assigned aircraft and equipment.

Inspects assigned aircraft and equipment.
(Aircraft Inspector / Q.C.)

Orders and receives parts.
-
Performs specialty assignments, can be but not
limited to, flight line, dock maintenance, AGE,
special vehicle maintenance, aircraft repair
branch functions and intermediate maintenance
fabrication shops.

Assist the RSAF intermediate maintenance
officer(s) in performing the following tasks:

Organize and supervise the IM repair task
and associated contractor personnel.

Advise and control shop workload flow and is
responsible for maintenance procedures,
practices and performance.

Plans, projects and implements IM
requirements, associated spars, tools and
test equipment.

Identify and resolve problem areas,
recommend improvements in productivity and
provides full management statistics and
charts on the IM work and train RSAF
personnel on all aspects of the F-15
aircraft systems.

Identify component ranges suitable for
inclusion in offset programs and develop the
in-Kingdome overhaul capability.
Experience and Qualifications:
-
Requires a minimum of seven (7) years experience
in F-15 component, accessories and systems of
which at least two (2) years must be at the
supervisory level.

Qualification as an F-15 Maintenance Specialist
in mandatory.

Experience as coordinating Intermediate
Maintenance (IM) shop functions and managing
component shop is mandatory.
