Avionics Instruments & Flight Control Instructor - B-Shop


Location: Saudi Arabia

 

Required Citizenship: United States

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design develop and conduct courses in a wide range of subjects in the Flight Control Systems career Field that include, but are not limited to: troubleshooting techniques, assembly of parts, modification of components, testing of control units, and the use of related ground equipment.

  • Preparation of Training Documentation including Course Control Documents, Student Study Guides, and Lesson Plans.

  • Supervise student practical work and ensure that safety precautions are observed, compile training progress and disciplinary reports for students in sphere of responsibility and maintain documentation on training and trainees.

  • Assist, when required, in the formal assessment of student progress.

  • Conduct advanced F-13S technical courses for RSAF personnel at the five (5) skill level or above.

  • Conduct professional development courses to prepare RSAF personnel for management positions.

  • Provide qualification training for newly assigned instructors.

  • Act as Curriculum Specialist when required, maintain and operate any training aids or equipment.

  • Maintain a Safe Custody Register.

  • Conduct general technical courses not restricted to Flight Control maintenance.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of a military service or recognized civilian Technical Training Institute having specialized in Flight Control Systems.

  • Must have completed a formal Instructional Techniques Course.

  • Must be capable of designing, developing and conducting all courses in accordance with RSAFM 10503.

  • At least two (2) years instructional experience, (in the past five (5) years), including instruction in the Flight Control Systems career field is mandatory.

  • At least five (5) years practical experience in the Flight Control Systems career field is also mandatory.
