Summary:
To provide training in instructional techniques and
methods: provide advisory services; and to develop an
administer maintenance technical training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Design,
develop and conduct courses in a wide range of
subjects in the Aircraft Fuel System career field
that include, but are not limited to:
troubleshooting techniques, assembly of system
components, modification of fuel systems, testing of
control units, and the use of related ground
equipment.

Preparation of Training Documentation including
Course Control Documents, Student Study Guides, and
Lesson Plans.
-
Supervise
student practical work and ensure that safety
precautions are observed, compile training progress
and disciplinary report for students in sphere of
responsibility.
-
Assist,
when required, in the formal assessment of student
progress.
-
Conduct
professional development courses to prepare RSAF
personnel for management positions.
-
Provide
qualification training for newly assigned
instructors.
-
Act as
Curriculum Specialist when required, maintain and
operate any training aids or equipment.

Maintain a
Save Custody Register.

Conduct
general technical courses not restricted to Fuel
Systems maintenance. =
Experience and Qualifications:
-
Minimum
seven (7) level experience required.

Must be a
graduate of a military service or recognized
civilian Technical Training Institute having
specialized in Fuel System Maintenance.

Must have
completed a formal Instructional Techniques Course.

Be capable
of designing, developing and conducting all courses
in accordance with RSAFM 105.31.

At least
two years Instructional experience, (in the past
five (5) years), including instruction in the Fuel
System career field is mandatory.
