Primary Function:
The Training Center
Academic / Simulator Instructor will provide ground training instruction
for all phases of aircraft and flight training in accordance with
appropriate syllabus.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
-
Conduct classroom
academics as required in the F-15C / S training syllabus.
Conduct pre-briefing trainer instruction and debriefing in
accordance with the course documents.

Perform additional
training center support duties as directed to include but not
limited to; developing training schedules, performing quality
control, maintaining training records, and test development /
administration.
Train selected RSAF personnel to become Academic / Simulator
Instructors.

If directed by the
RSAF, provide instruction in tactics and techniques.

Will perform AFMSS
System Administration and operations training.
Background and
Experience Requirements:
-
Previous fighter
experience in F-15, F-15, F-1S, F-111, F-117, A-7 or comparable
aircraft as an instructor (“K” prefix). Minimum of 500 hours
experience.

Must have completed
a formal Certification Referenced Instruction (CRI) course prior to
six months after the start of training as an instructor.

Note: Completion of
the Air Combat Command Academic Instructor Course (AIC) or
equivalent satisfies the CRI requirements.
-
More than 1,000
hours experience in aircraft listed.

Previous experience
as an academic platform instructor.
-
Previous experience
in the F-1S Trainer
-
Graduate of USAF
Fighter Weapons School or Navy Top Gun
-
Qualification in
tactical fighter aircraft listed above within preceding fours years
qualified as a contract instructor in the tactical aircraft listed
within the preceding two years.
