Required

Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Knowledge of mechanical principles that
apply to jet engines, principles of oil analysis, wear metal
criteria, and guidelines; concepts and application of RSAF technical
publications, Maintenance Management, and use and interpretation of
wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical publications is desired.

Perform repairs, modifications, and
overhauls under limited supervision using policies and practices for
guidance.

Understands and interprets required
engineering drawings, instructions, and technical manuals.

Resolves and corrects routine problems
during operation, maintenance, and repair of delivered products.

Perform additional duties as required
by supervisor.
Experience and
Qualifications:
-
Prefer five years AWACS experience or
equivalent. A&P license a plus. In addition, one year experience in
performing functions such as repair, modification, or testing of
small gas turbine engines.

Ability to comprehend various forms of
documentation including verbal or written instructions, engineering
drawings, and specifications.

Applies knowledge, skills, and mastery
of job processes expertise to achieve results; expertise is
recognized and sought by others; continuously develops and advances
technical capabilities.

Skill in use of various tools, tooling,
instruments, and test equipment to accomplish assignment.

The ability to use established
physical, mechanical, or scientific principles and perform
appropriate tests to identify and solve problems encountered on the
job.
