Summary:
Performs Quality Verification Inspections, panel closure
inspection and a myriad of other functions to ensure the
effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluates maintenance personnel engaged in
maintenance inspection, repair and overhaul of AWAC
aircraft and their systems, accessories and
components’ as aircraft and subassemblies proceed
through stages of overhaul, repair and modification
process, applying knowledge of quality assurance
standards and procedures.

Reviews
operating procedures, technical manuals, and
production schedules to determine method of
conducting inspections and audits, sequence of
operations, and work assignments to assure all
procedures are being done correctly.

Verifies
program maintenance standards and procedures are in
compliance.

Performs
quality assurance inspection and audits, to include
all aircraft documentation, to assure that
establishment and regulatory standards are met.

Performs
Pilot briefs and debriefs associated with Functional
Check Flights.

Reviews
reports and confers with quality assurance,
production, and management personnel to solve
work-related problems.

Performs
internal audits of various programs and departments
to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2000 Standards.

Performs
periodic inspections on tool control, FOD control,
precision test equipment and others.

Initiates
necessary paperwork and records for weight and
balance of aircraft. Receives and maintains all W &
B historical records and makes necessary entries.
Performs weight and balance certification of large
aircraft.
Knowledge and Experience:
-
Must have
graduated high school or equivalent.

Minimum
five (5) years Quality Control experience

Certified
ISO 9001:2000 internal auditor a plus
The
length of term of this contract is through December of
2009. Start date is 1 June, 2009 (arrival date in Saudi
Arabia)
U.S.
citizenship is a requirement on this program. Applicants
must have, or be capable of securing a valid U.S.
passport. Applicants must also be capable of passing an
employment physical as part of the work visa processing
requirements.
