Instructor Navigator

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at Al Kharj or Riyadh
Air Base (RAB).

Duties and
Responsibilities:
-
Instructs AWACS mission crew members in
operational requirements, procedures and techniques using approved
RSAF/USAF courseware, and AWACS aircrew training devices.

Prepares classroom instructional
materials.
-
Evaluates student performance; makes
decisions regarding student progress; provides instructional
counseling; recommends corrective action for training deficiencies;
and documents student accomplishments.

Prepares student grade folders and
other correspondence/forms required to document student performance.

Develops and coordinates schedules for
student and instructor staff and organizes instructor team work
assignments for classroom and training device events.

Maintains direct contact with the
customer to ensure students are fully prepared for the flying phase
of training.

Participates directly in the courseware
development, production, and review processes.

Provides subject and instructional
expertise and actual courseware application feedback. Performs other
tasks as required to support the contract effort.
Experience and Qualifications:
-
Must be graduate of an Academic
Instructor School or equivalent.

Must have been aircrew qualified within
the past two years as an Instructor Navigator in the E-3, KE-3 or
KC-135.
-
Knowledge of inertial navigation
systems, omega navigation equipment, refueling/rendezvous beacon
equipment, audio distribution and external UHF, HF, VHF radio
systems, and operational navigation procedures and techniques.

Must have at least two years of
classroom experience in conducting aircrew-training classes.

Seven years experience in Armed Forces
Specialty Code or equivalent is required.

Three years of the seven must have been
in performing as a technically qualified E-3, KE-3 or KC-135
navigator.
