Instructor Flight Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Instructs mission crew
members in operational requirements, procedures and techniques using
approved RSAF/USAF courseware and aircrew training devices.

Prepares classroom
instructional materials. Evaluates student performance; makes
decisions regarding student progress; provides instructional
counseling; recommends corrective action for training deficiencies;
and documents student accomplishments.

Prepares student grade
folders and other correspondence/forms required to document student
performance.

Develops and coordinates
schedules for student and instructor staff and organizes instructor
team work assignments for classroom and training device events.

Maintains direct contact
with the customer to ensure students are fully prepared for the
flying phase of training.

Participates directly in
the courseware development, production, and review processes.

Provides subject and
instructional expertise and actual courseware application feedback.

Performs other tasks as
required to support the contract effort.
Experience
and Qualifications:
-
Must have been aircrew
qualified within the last two years and qualified as an E-3, KE-3 or
KC-135 Instructor Flight Engineer.

Knowledge of electrical,
mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems that apply to aircraft
and related systems; theory of flight; minor in-flight maintenance;
use of personal equipment and oxygen; communications and aircraft
emergency procedures and use and interpretation of diagrams,
schematics, aircraft performance charts, loading charts, technical
publications and flight manuals.

Requires minimum of 500
hours flight line duty in AFSC 251X0, 251X1 or 252X0 on E-3 or
KC-135 or similar aircraft.

Ten years experience in
Armed Forces Specialty Code or equivalent; of which at least two
years must have been at the seven level.
