Conducts basic and aircraft-type Airframe &
Powerplant system courses, using established course
reference materials and standards.

Develops, implements or evaluates new existing
training programs.

Designs and applies evaluation techniques and
proficiency testing methods to measure the
effectiveness of training.

Facilitates the development of aviation A&P training
program masters to ensure standardization of
instructional materials, handouts, tests, lesson
plans and delivery.

Prepares and administers Airframe & Powerplant
written / oral tests.
-
Maintains sufficient test bank questions for
Airframe & Powerplant courses.
-
Continuous Airframe & Powerplant courses and
Material reviews, validation and up-dates to meet
technological developments, production requirements
and satisfy airworthiness and regulatory directives
and the needs of AM&M technical personnel.

Evaluates, document and report trainees performance
and attitude.
-
Remains current in job specific procedures in order
to apply the most appropriate methodologies by
attending conferences, educational programs and
seminars, reading professional publications, using
the Internet, and participating professional
organizations.

Continuous counsel and advise trainees to attain and
improve technical standards.

Provides professional advice on technical subjects
within the scope of technical training.

Assists STD Manager in the continuing development
and implementation of the Saudization Development
Program

Develop feasible short and long-range plans/goals to
project the develop airframe & powerplant program
and projects.

Establish and maintain effective working
relationships with trainees and those contracted in
the course of assignment.

Organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks to
complete job functions in an orderly, efficient
manner.

Exercise good judgment in safeguarding confidential
or sensitive information.

Independently make decisions and take appropriate
action.

Convert ideas and concepts into an effective
combination of audio and visual impressions.

Use
modern office and training equipment to perform
complex office and training tasks.

Negotiate training contract terms and conditions.

Conduct research, gather information and analyze a
variety of data.

Minimum of 10 years experience in hands-on
maintenance of large aircraft.

Minimum of 5 years experience as A&P instructor with
instructional development skills up to the level of
establishing and developing new training programs.

Aircraft maintenance license with Airframe and
Powerplant ratings.
-
Presentation skills is mandatory.
-
Computer knowledge (Word, Excell and Power Point is
Mandatory.)

Knowledge of the principles and practices of
administration and management.

Knowledge of the program or project management
techniques.
-
Knowledge of training or instructional strategies
and methodologies.
-
Knowledge of the principles of group dynamics and
human behavior.

Knowledge of the trends in executive development and
management training.

Problem-solving techniques.

Report-writing techniques to produce analytical
reports or written materials having hi
organizational impact in appropriate format.

Knowledge of the principles of supervision.
