Summary:
To contribute to the
achievement of sales for the Commercial Operations of the company by
formulating and executing regional and global business development
programs in line with the company’s business plans and longer term
strategic plans to include; achieving targeted sales, developing new
customers, strengthening relationships with current customers,
developing proposals, recommending and assisting in developing new
lines of business, analyzing the competitive position of Alsalam both
regionally and globally, and to recommend actions to better position
Alsalam to grow the business profitably.
Duties & Responsibilities:

To formulate
business development plans and objectives to ensure maximum
potential sales from all regional and international markets for the
Company’s commercial services.

To assist in
preparing an annual three year business plan for Commercial sales.

To assist in
preparing an annual sales forecast and attendant budget by
geographical region with detailed information on all international
markets with regard to existing and anticipated trends.
-
To originate new
customers and markets regionally and internationally for the
Company’s service and recommended new initiatives for existing
markets.

To engage in
international networking to establish and maintain top level contact
with the management of existing and potential customers.

To jointly
establish pricing policies, credit terms and conditions for sale in
negotiation of contractual arrangements.

To analyze the
competitive position of the Company and recommend product styling,
quality changes and/or pricing structures.

To scrutinize and
appraise the effectiveness of sales methods, costs and results.
-
To evaluate and
recommend if appropriate, participation in exhibitions and trade
fairs on the basis of estimated value to the Company.

To ensure that all
orders and other customer communications are promptly and accurately
handled, so that appropriate and timely action can be taken to
maintain a high quality customer service.

To assist in
administering and preparing proposals, meeting all time schedules
and submitting professionally packaged proposals.
