Manager Career Development


Location: Saudi Arabia

Basic Functions:

  • To contribute to the development and implementation of a learning organization which meets the needs of the Company and to ensure that personal and professional career development along with organizational learning is in line with international best practice. Additionally to create a culture that fosters personal growth and professional career path development.

 

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement learning and development strategy, in line with business objectives and overall organizational strategy.

  • Design and implement competency based learning and development policies, procedures and practices.

  • Identify all core competencies and skills for every position in the Company.

  • Identify the career development needs, against the core competencies and manager requirements.

  • Accurately assess corporate needs and competency gap analysis, and formulate the necessary competency based training.

  • Design and implement group learning and educational programmes, in addition to organizing and coordinating external approved courses.

  • Set up an in-house learning resource, which provides tailor made management development programmes, as per the Company’s requirements and needs.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of management development and training provided and introduce improvements where necessary.

 

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • CIPD/SHRM qualified or equivalent membership status from an alternative professional institution.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with managers, employees, and others external to the Company, such as trainers, consultants, and agencies.

  • Must have the ability to present facts and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

  • Should be experienced in observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. 

  • Must have the ability to prepare and implement medium/long-term plans and programmes.

  • Must have the ability to deliver training programmes, workshops and seminars, with excellent platform skills.

  • Must be computer literate.

  • Must be excellent in English language writing, reading, and speaking.

  • Should have at least 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years working closely with training managers and, 5 years managerial and supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
