Summary:
Our customer is a leading provider of superior
commercial and military aircraft maintenance, modification,
manufacturing and related services in the Aviation and Aerospace
Industry.
This position is responsible for assisting the
assigned Project Manager and the Director Projects with the execution of
one or more simultaneous projects in accordance with a valid, executed
contract, per company policies, procedures and work instructions and
contracts requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure that the
right product is developed and delivered to meet Company’s quality
standard, and contract requirements.
-
Coordinate and
facilitate the communication and interaction amongst the different
concerned departments and subcontractors as delegated by the
assigned Project Manager.

Assist the assigned
Project Manager in tracking the project against its schedule, budget
and against phase review objectives.
-
Ensure phase & final
invoicing internal and from subcontractors is timely and accurate.
-
Assist the assigned
Project Manager to develop and implement recovery plans for
off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
-
Prepare periodic
management and/or customer reports and presentations as assigned by
the Project Manager.

Assist the Project
Manager with the preparation and conduction of the Project Kick-Off
Meeting.

Prepare and conduct
Project Meetings as assigned by the Project Manager.

Recommend new
processes where needed for quality improvement, cost reduction and
on-time delivery.
Education & Qualifications:
-
Must have recent
experience on Boeing 747 and/or 737 aircraft.

Bachelors Degree in
Aerospace Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
-
Minimum of three
(3+) years of experience in Project Management.

Proven skills in
Project Management.
-
FAR 145 MRO aircraft
heavy maintenance, overhaul, manufacturing industry experience.

Ability to meet
schedules and deliver quality results in the committed time period.

Accuracy, ability to
work independently, teamwork, information seeking.

Effective
communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Effective analytical
and problem-solving skills.

Effective
organization skills including the ability to prioritize and plan
work.
